Director's Message
Welcome to the G-Tec Computer Educational Institution . Institution started its journey in 2014 with the support of G-Tec Chithara Centre and the State Government of Kerala. Today, it is evident from our performance that it is an Institute of national impact and International repute. However, no one, nor I, can claim to be the sole architect of its success. It would not have been possible for the Institute to be what it is today without the constant support and contribution of G-Tec society. Our goal is to be a school of generative ideas so that we remain relevant to our society. In so doing, we focus on six interweaved concepts - maintaining diverse community, creating academic excellence, blending current trends with culturally congruent values, imbibing sense of social responsibility, fostering imagination, and staying connected with beautiful minds.
To create and maintain academic excellence, we engage ourselves with cutting edge research and constantly interact with the industry. Through these processes, we are able to foresee the complex problems that our society may face tomorrow and provide solutions to these problems ahead of time. Furthermore, we realized that if we do not learn lessons from our traditional wisdom and blend it with the modern trends, we would turn short sighted. Therefore, we have created Indian Business Museum, which aims to inform the members of our community about our strength and weakness. Additionally, we strongly believe that a management education without human touch could be detrimental for our progress. Consequently, in addition to typical issues of management education, we offer lessons from Humanities & Liberal Arts to foster imagination of the members of our community.
We are a work in progress. Together we are creating the architecture of a unique academic space that balances these four paradoxes: Excellence and Equity; High Tech and High Touch; Global Vision rooted in Local Context; Agility of Our Systems with the Stability of Timeless Values.
G-TEC EDUCATION is an ISO 9001:2008 company imparting IT & ICT training with several divisions, traditional university courses (GCAS-G-TEC College for Advance Studies) coupled with international IT certifications(GITECS- G-TEC International Testing and Certifications) along with Soft Skill programmes (GENSMART- Generation Smart) to bridge in to employability. G-TEC contributes significantly towards enrichment of higher quality talent of skilled developed human resources with international bench mark. The vision is to provide professional education merging corporate culture globally to the youth through technology resourcing and knowledge consulting with emerging technologies. Quality assurance parameters for each stage of training and development are ensured at all levels. G-TEC COMPUTER EDUCATION, the computer training division of the company is one among the largest in the world in its kind with the unmatched network of training centers.
